When comfort meets charity

Northam – Friday 10 May was National Slipper Day! Slipper Day is an annual national Reach for A Dream initiative to raise awareness and funds for children with life-threatening illnesses.  

At Northam Wimpy, the staff and customers proudly showed their support by wearing their slippers to work. 

The Reach For A Dream vision is to encourage these children to dream big – and as far as possible, make these dreams come true.  

The foundation continues to give hope to children fighting life-threatening diseases through the fulfilment of their dreams and making their national projects available to as many of the children as they can. These projects include: Camping Sunshine, Queen for the Day and Captain Courage.
