Limpopo crime stats released

Limpopo – The national Police released the latest crime statistics, ranging from 1 April 2016 – 31 March 2017, on Tuesday, 24 October before Parliament, Cape Town.

To understand the statistics, a basic layout of the different types of crimes is required. There are:

For the 17 community reported crimes, the Limpopo Province’s crime stats fell with 3.9%. Contact crimes also decreased with 9%; contact related crimes decreased with 10.6% and property related crimes also decreased with 2.6%. Other serious crimes increased with 3.9%.
