Newly appointed SIOC-CDT trustee passes on

Kathu – Chief executive officer (CEO) of the Sishen Iron Ore Community Development Trust (SIOC-CDT) Vusani Malie has announced the sudden passing of newly-elected Gamagara community representative trustee, Thusoeng Clement Itumeleng.  

Itumeleng passed away on Friday 3 January. 
The SIOC-CDT Board of Trustees and the entire team send sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. 

His untimely passing is a great loss to the organisation and the beneficiary communities as the board was eagerly looking forward to his contribution to the advancement of SIOC-CDT’s community development mandate.

The memorial service for Itumeleng took place on Wednesday 8 January in Gadiboe Village. All community members have been urged to support and keep Itumeleng’s family in their payers during this difficult time.
