Working towards a cleaner environment 

Thabazimbi – Thabazimbi Local Municipality (TLM) is confident that it’s ‘Green Bins’ initiative will go a long way in achieving a cleaner and safer environment. 

Through this programme, the municipality is reaching out to all businesses operating within its jurisdiction and assisting them to combat the challenge of waste management. 

By distributing refuse bins to the owners of businesses for public use, TLM is playing a key role in spreading awareness on the importance of a clean environment. 

TLM personnel involved in the programme supply bins to business owners, who then place them outside their premises for use by the public.

Business owners involved in this programme are expected to ensure the safety and security of their bins. 

This initiative is helping to improve the image of the businesses taking part. It is also projecting a positive image to the public about the businesses by showing that they care for the environment and the well-being of the public.
