Welcome pastor Donnie

Swartklip/Northam - Living Word Swartklip would like to welcome pastor Donnie van Tonder and his wife Louise Van Tonder to the Swartklip congregation. He joined the church in March 2019 on a temporary basis and has now committed himself to stay on for 2020. 

Pastor Donnie and Louise are based in Rustenburg, but they fell in love with the Bushveld community and felt a calling to serve here for now. They travel from Rustenburg on a weekly basis to hold two services on Sunday and during the week when needed. Pastor van Tonder has been in the service full-time since 2010.

“We have a passion for people and originally just helped out at Living Word Swartklip, but we felt called to continue. We are launching a few projects this year for community upliftment, especially in Northam and Swartklip.

I am also a Global Coach and in the process of helping young people to better themselves in sports as well as academically. We would love the community to join in and be part of this growing process,” said pastor Van Tonder in an interview with Platinum Bushvelder.
