The coronavirus has affected many countries thus far. Although there have been no confirmed cases of an outbreak in South Africa to date, the minister of health doctor Zweli Mkhize said that we should be prepared.

Platinum Bushvelder took to the streets to find out what our readers have to say about the virus.

“I am frightened for South Africans to get the coronavirus because China’s technology is much more advanced than South Africa - and they are struggling to contain the virus, how will South Africa manage?”

 

“This is a terrible situation. The people who don’t have the virus lives in fear of being infected themselves.

Even though there are no confirmed cases of the virus in South Africa, I will continue to take hygienic precautions.”
