TLM and ArcelorMittal clean up landfill site

Thabazimbi – The Thabazimbi landfill site has become more than just an eyesore for the residents of Thabazimbi.

After the overflow of garbage started to affect the Dwaalboom road, the Thabazimbi Local Municipality (TLM) had to find a quick and effective short-term solution. 

On Saturday 8 February TLM in partnership with ArcelorMittal Thabazimbi rolled up their sleeves to maintain and manage the landfill site.

This collaboration is only the beginning of a coordinated effort to find a sustainable solution for waste management in Thabazimbi.

TLM extended their gratitude towards ArcelorMittal for their good gesture and assistance. They also conveyed an apology to the residents and business owners for the inconvenience caused.
