LCC working hard to ensure compliance

Thabazimbi – The Thabazimbi Local Municipality (TLM) Local Command Council (LCC) conducted roadblocks on Tuesday 5 May. The roadblocks form part of a COVID-19 awareness campaign and served to monitor compliance regarding level-4 of the lockdown.

Several motorists were fined for driving without masks and for overloading. The TLM LCC members are concerned about members of the public not adhering to the terms of the national lockdown regulations.

LCC members also visited a local store to ensure that it met the COVID-19 requirements and were impressed with the results.
