Pothole-riddled roads repaired  

Northam – Thabazimbi Local Municipality (TLM) personnel have been repairing potholes along roads and intersections in response to service delivery complaints. The recent rains have caused extensive damage to road infrastructure and repair is important to ensure the safety of motorists and other road users. 

Under the supervision of newly appointed acting area manager Fred Mariri, the TLM team has made significant headway in repairing several potholes at the four-way stop along Botha and Brits Roads, which have high volumes of traffic but there is plenty of work ahead as much ground still needs to be covered. 

TLM has expressed gratitude to all those involved in the repairs and has assured community members that the initiative will continue until potholes in Northam become a thing of the past.
