Fatality at Zondereinde  

Northam – Adelino Guambe, a rock drill operator sadly passed away on Saturday 29 March in a fall of ground incident at Northam Platinum’s Zondereinde 1 shaft. “Zondereinde management has extended sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr Guambe,” said Northam Platinum spokesperson Marion Brower. In terms of the Department of Minerals and Energy regulations, the incident is currently the subject of an investigation. Our thoughts and prayers go out the family and friends of Adelino during this difficult time.
