THIS IS NO PIPE DREAM! 

Northam – Weak water pressure, dirty water, or no water at all… Community members in and around Thabazimi have learned to live with these daily stressors.
The good news, that is spreading like wildfire is that the Thabazimbi Local Municipality (TLM) has deployed a team to upgrade the main water-supply piping in various parts of town. Several disgruntled residents voiced their concerns about dirty water and had to buy water for their daily consumption.
 
This new pipeline will render clean potable water which will be supplied by Magalies Water. This project seems to be in the pipeline for another six months – no pun intended! The TLM teams are working around the clock to get clean water to community members. On 16 April they pulled a 12-hour shift at the entrance of Northam extension 6.

We urge the community to be patient. As you drive around town, you will notice workers digging and working on the pipeline,” said councillor David Goveiea in an interview with Platinum Bushvelder.
