Prinsloo facing death threats 

Pretoria – The video of a foiled heist, in which a driver and his colleague fended off heavily armed robbers who repeatedly shot at their vehicle, has gone viral.
 
On Thursday 22 April, Leo Prinsloo and his colleague Lloyd Mtombeni found themselves under a hail of bullets while travelling in their armoured vehicle along the N4 highway near Pretoria. During the attack, which was captured on the vehicle’s dashcam, the robbers continuously shot at the vehicle in an attempt to force it to stop. 
However, Prinsloo – a former South African Police Services (SAPS) special forces officer for 12 years – demonstrated nerves of steel and kept on driving as the attack intensified. The robbers eventually gave up and fled the scene. This was after Prinsloo stopped his vehicle and got out to confront them.
 
Prinsloo, who is now reportedly facing death threats, has been praised for his heroic efforts during the attack. He is definitely the type of guy you would want on your side if the popo hits the fan.
