Caution – accident ahead! [Letter to the editor]

I want to urge, advise, and plead with the community to be careful when they approach an accident scene. I recently witnessed an accident at a busy intersection where two vehicles crashed.
Shortly after the accident occurred, a bumper bash followed – four cars involved in an accident within minutes at the same intersection.
The best is just to avoid tailgating and to follow at a safe distance. It takes your brain 0.75 seconds to recognise that there is a serious problem ahead.
