Thaba Park Stadium renovated 

Thabazimbi – The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) regional works unit held an unveiling ceremony of the newly renovated Thaba Park Stadium, which was officially handed over to Thabazimbi Local Municipality (TLM) on Friday 4 June.

This renovation project formed part of SANDF’s Covid-19 community support initiatives. The renovated building and infrastructure consist of offices for various sporting activities.

The ceremony was attended by TLM acting mayor councillor Refilwe Mampeule, speaker Thane Hearne, councillor Sanny Ndhlovu, councillor Sam Makhubela, councillor Rachel Mokwena, councillor Frik Erasmus, councillor Irene Nengenkhulu, and councillor Alex Serole – as well as SANDF brigadier general Mulaudzi.
