Covid-19 vaccine rollout 

Thabazimbi – A Covid-19 vaccination rollout awareness campaign, spearheaded by the Thabazimbi Local Municipality (TLM) in partnership with mining companies, the Department of Health and various stakeholders, aims to get as many as possible community members vaccinated.

    
The campaign was re-activated on Monday 21 June by the TLM Covid-19 Local Command Council (LCC) as a direct intervention aimed at curbing the spread of the virus in Thabazimbi, Regorogile and surrounding areas.

The council also comprises various stakeholders such as the police, community policing forum (CPF) representatives as well as concerned members of the community.

With Covid-19 cases peaking during the winter season, community members are urged to continue sanitising, adhering to social distancing protocols and wearing cloth masks to minimise infection.
