SASSA social grant payments resumed

SA – Payments of social grants resumed on 19 July after the suspension of payments last week due to the protests and looting in several parts of the country.

In a SASSA press release on 16 July, beneficiaries who have not received their payments can go to paypoints or utilise alternatives means such as ATMs and Merchant Stores within their areas. Beneficiaries are urged to comply with Covid-19 health protocols.
