Thank you to Mediclinic’s heroes [Letter to the editor]

I would like to extend my gratitude to all the staff at Mediclinic Thabazimbi, everyone from admin, the pharmacy, the nurses, doctors, chefs and cleaners… all of them.

These frontline workers truly are heroes as they have been thrown into the deep end since the beginning of the pandemic. They are also only human – flesh and blood, with emotions. This profession takes up much of their own humanity and they don’t get all the credit they deserve. From early morning until late at night they are ready to assist the sick. Some win the battle and others are not so lucky. 

Let us salute these important people who cling to hope and to faith every day. Let’s not forget about those who try their best and carry them in our prayers. We must remain hopeful as the Bible teaches us in 

Jeremiah 29:11.
The David within us is greater than any Goliath. So, count on your pebble of faith and win the battle. From the bottom of my heart, I say thank you and may God bless you abundantly every day with power and wisdom.
