Northam Plaza’s gifts of joy

Northam – Friday 6 August turned out to be a very special day for many women who visited Northam Plaza, thanks to an initiative of mall management. 

As part of commemorating Women’s Month, many ladies were spoilt with goodie bags full of gifts and special treats. The goody bags contained a lunch box, a water bottle and an  umbrella. 

Northam Plaza manager David Harty said the initiative was their way of showing appreciation to women, who are the glue which holds society together. 

“We feel that every woman deserves to be spoilt,” he said. “We appreciate women because we feel they are the heart of their homes and the community. Many women combine a full-time job with raising their children. Some of them do this alone.”
