Stranger danger!

Northam – As part of their safer school awareness campaign, the Northam Police paid a visit to Platina Kidz Pre-school in Swartklip on Friday 20 August.
Communication officer sergeant Madisa spearheaded the campaign with the assistance of social crime prevention coordinator sergeant Molefe, the Community Policing Forum and Young Civilians on Patrol.
The learners were taught more about Stranger Danger. 
They were cautioned to never accept anything (sweets or money) from people they don’t know, but rather report any suspicious people to their elders. 
The police also addressed issues relating to bullying, theft, discipline, respect and human trafficking.
