Northam Rhinos win again! 

Northam – Northam Rhinos’ dominance in the Carlton Cup continued on Saturday 28 August when they notched up a 48-19 win over Centurion. 

The Rhinos, who lifted the Lucas Strachan Shield on 21 August after managing to clinch the top spot in the first round of the Carlton Cup, underlined their intentions of winning more silverware by scoring eight tries. 

In a display of some of their best rugby this season, Northam Rhinos were 48-5 ahead at one point of the game before Centurion scored two tries inside the final six minutes. 

Rhinos hooker JT Cronjé, eighth man Chaney Willemse and wing Ashwell scored two tries each to lay the foundation for another convincing victory. Xolani Nkosi, Danie Loots and Cecil Dumond also performed outstanding.
