A brush with death

Thabazimbi – Victims of another head-on collision on the R510 narrowly escaped death. The accident occurred on the stretch of road between Amandelbult and Northam on Saturday 4 September.

No fatalities were reported but one person sustained serious injuries.

The R510 has become synonymous with head-on collisions as impatient motorists tend to ignore solid lines and attempt to overtake without having a clear view.
