Assen  in ashes

Assen – The brave Thaba Fire and Rescue volunteers were called out to assist in extinguishing a runaway fire in Assen (between Thabazimbi and Brits) on Thursday 23 September. 

The seven volunteers and farmers fought the fire until 03:15 the following morning. A big thank you to everyone who’ve put themselves at risk and offered up their valuable time to limit the damage caused by the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown.
