Parents anxiously waiting to hear from kidnappers Four Polokwane siblings still missing

Limpopo – According to police, the family of the abducted Moti brothers has not yet received any ransom demand from the kidnappers.

The police in Westenburg outside Polokwane launched a massive manhunt for the group of suspects who abducted the brothers at gunpoint from the BMW in which they were transported to school on Wednesday 20 October at about 07:00. The seven suspects were all armed with rifles. 

Apparently the 64-year-old driver fetched the children from Nirvana and was driving along the R37 near the N1 bypass when he was suddenly blocked by two vehicles, a white Kia Sorento and a black Mercedes Benz. As the gunmen, dressed in white overalls, got out they started firing sporadic shots in the air.

The suspects then forced the four children out of the vehicle into their Mercedez Benz and drove off towards the direction of the R81. According to brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, the police traced the children’s’ cellphones, it was found dumped at Flora Park.

The provincial commissioner of police in Limpopo lieutenant general Thembi Hadebe ordered a high-level search operation that also involves the airwing.

The nation’s thoughts and prayers are with the boys and their family.
