TLM mayor congratulates class of 2021

Thabazimbi – The Thabazimbi Local Municipality (TLM) mayor, councillor Tokkie Swanepoel, would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Grade 12 class of 2021. 

“On behalf of TLM, the council and residents, congratulations on a sterling job in the final examinations and keeping the flag flying!”

She also commended educators, administrators and parents on a challenging school year aggravated by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“You have shown that perseverance, hard work and discipline will always be a recipe for success. You guys have made us proud. You refused to buckle under the pressure that came with a disrupted school year brought about by Covid-19.

Good luck with your future endeavours. To those who did not make it, do not despair. Be brave enough to try again and I am sure that success will be the reward for your courage,” she said.

Mayor Swanepoel shared a special message with Hoërskool Frikkie Meyer learners, educators and the principal. The school achieved a 100% pass rate.

“Congratulations on your amazing achievement, keep it up!”
