Charity run a raging success!

Thabazimbi – The Originals Motorcycle Club (MCC) hosted a fun ‘charity’ run on Sunday 28 August to support the good work of Thabazimbi Animal Rescue (TAR).

Everyone met at Koolstoof restaurant for breakfast before heading out to Eco Mountain In, and then made their way back to the restaurant again. Each community member who pitched up at the restaurant were also treated to breakfast, and their fee helped carry charity costs. Participants also rocked up with pet food, animal blankets and items TAR can utilise.

Through the community’s support, Originals Motorcycle Club managed to raise R13,388. Three bakkies loaded to the brim with much-needed supplies were later handed over to TAR.
The donations will help TAR to feed, house and ensure that the animals in their care receive the necessary medical treatment.

MCC would like to extend a word of thanks to Koolstoof restaurant, Eco Mountain In, Buco, Kooperasie Restaurant in Koedoeskop as well as everyone who contributed.
