Massive increase in petrol and diesel prices

SA – South African motorists will be paying more for petrol and diesel on Wednesday (2 November 2022) after the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy announced price hikes.

The price increases are According to the department, the price increases are coming due to higher prices for international petroleum products coupled with a weaker rand. 

Prices for petrol will increase by 51 cents per litre, while diesel prices will jump by around R1.40 a litre.
