Great sports at Bushveld 10’s

Northam/ Setaria – The Northam Rhinos Rugby Club hosted their second annual Bushveld 10’s Festival on Friday 3 March 2023 and Saturday 4 March 2023. It was the perfect combination of beer, good music, and great sports!

Teams from all over South Africa came to take part as various rugby and netball teams battled it out on the field for the winning title. There were 24 rugby teams, and of these 24, six were women sevens teams. On the netball field, 14 teams participated. More than 1,000 spectators attended to show their support.

The flea market and live entertainment included Reborne, Vurkmeister, and Johan Loots, who contributed to the great off-field atmosphere!

One of the highlights was the fact that the SA Legends also participated in the event, and another great moment was when rugby legend Danie Gerber decided to help out the Beer Bellies during their game.

Well done to the organisers for hosting this fantastic event and all the players who made this an event to remember!
