Kayla’s vocals gain recognition in the USA

Thabazimbi – Local Kayla de Bruyn (18) participated in September 2022 in the Talent Africa competition where she reached the top ten and was advanced to take part in the International Performing Arts Championships in New York City, United States of America (USA). The international championship took place from 9 to 18 July 2023. 

For her vocal talents, Kayla received the following: 

• Second place for pop
• First place for open
• First place for country 
• First place for musical 
• First place for gospel
