Rhinos’ grit and glory in Carlton Cup finals! 

Setaria – Saturday 2 September 2023 was an intense day of rugby at Bushveld Park, Seteria, as the Northam Rhinos Rugby Club’s various teams showcased their skill, passion, and determination in the Carlton Cup league finals. The Rhinos’ first team locked horns with the formidable Naka Bulls in what turned out to be a gripping contest. Fighting valiantly to the last whistle, the Rhinos fell just short with a final scoreline of 24-28.

In another captivating match, the Rhinos’ 3rd team displayed unwavering resolve against the Hollywoodbets Harlequins. Despite their spirited performance, they couldn’t quite bridge the gap, ending with a score of 20-31. Providing a silver lining to the day’s proceedings, the Rhinos’ 4th team took on the Hollywoodbets Harlequins and triumphed, registering a convincing victory of 37-19. The day may have had its ups and downs, but the Rhinos’ spirit remains unbroken as they look forward to the next match with renewed vigour.
