Konstructica’s charity extravaganza
Thabazimbi – On Spring Day, Konstructica Hardware and Building Materials employees, under the leadership of owner Rudi Nel, transformed Konstructica’s premises into a hub of charity and community spirit. And the excitement peaked on 15 September when raffle champions claimed their grand rewards!
Working hand-in-hand with Tambotie Versorging Sentrum and the Tshepong Children’s Project, the event was a medley of community involvement. Tantalising hot dogs and refreshing beverages were on sale, courtesy of the two organisations, offering a simple yet delicious way for people to contribute to a noble cause.
But it wasn’t just about food and drinks. The event also featured a raffle sale, spicing up the day with a bit of luck and anticipation. Generous Konstructica suppliers ensured that the raffle prizes were irresistible as a Weber braai, Ryobi blower, a Medal Paint gift pack, a Pacer pool cleaner, a Tork Craft rotary tool and accessories set, and much more were up for grabs.
Rudi Nel made a heartfelt commitment to make this charitable endeavour an annual tradition. “It’s incredible to see the community come together like this. The essence of this event is to show that we can accomplish great things when we act collectively”.
The Konstructica staff and those from Office Man fully embraced the day’s spirit as they enthusiastically sold raffle tickets. The proceeds were earmarked for the Tshepong Children’s Project and Tambotie Versorging Sentrum, giving both organisations a financial boost.
Tshepong Children’s Project director, Louise Coetzee, voiced her gratitude: “This event will significantly aid in our operations and bring happiness to our children’s home.”
Tambotie Versorging Sentrum manager Barbara Pienaar underscored the significance of their relationship with Konstructica, describing them as permanent sponsors who consistently offer assistance with construction-related needs.
Congratulations to winners Herman Redelinghuys who won the Pacer pool cleaner, JD Jordaan who won a Tork Craft rotary tool and accessories, Henk Botha as the Ryobi blower winner, Moloko Ramahuma who took home the Weber braai, Mathys Schoeman who won the Medal Paint gift pack, and Konstructica giftpack winners Paul Freeborough and Phillip Potgieter.
By combining community spirit with a dash of fun, Konstructica’s charity event not only raised vital funds but also reaffirmed the age-old adage that unity is strength.
