2023 SA RALLY-RAID CHAMPIONSHIP TO CONCLUDE IN LIMPOPO 

Thabazimbi - The route for the Waterberg 400, the seventh and final round of the 2023 SA Rally-Raid Championship, (SARRC) taking place on Friday 10 November and Saturday 11 November in the Thabazimbi area of Limpopo Province, will present a variety of terrains that will challenge competitors in the last leg of the national titles race. Additionally, it promises to amaze spectators with the capabilities of the competing crews and their powerful race vehicles.

This marks the first time that a round of the SARRC will be hosted in this region of the country. Not only will this new event create a level playing field for all participants, but it will also provide a significant economic boost to the area. Koedoeskop Laerskool, situated on the R511 approximately 35 kilometres from the town of Northam, which boasts the world’s deepest platinum mine, will serve as the starting point for all the action. The location is easily accessible from Tshwane and Gauteng, making it convenient for enthusiasts to enjoy a day filled with exhilarating racing.

Starting at Koedoeskop Laerskool, the Waterberg 400 will consist of the Pirelli Qualifying Race covering 59 kilometres on Friday, 10 November, followed by two loops of 178 kilometres on Saturday, 11 November.
