Limpopo celebrates stellar matric triumph in 2023!

Limpopo – Limpopo’s schools have really shined in 2023 and learners did great in their matric exams, with 79.5% passing. That’s a big jump of 7.3% from the year before.

Mopani West came out on top among all districts with an impressive 83.8% pass rate. Mogalakwena wasn’t far behind with 82.6%, and Vhembe East was right there too with 82.5%.

Education MEC, Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya, shared these numbers and couldn’t hide her excitement about the students of 2023. She gave a big thank you to everyone – teachers, parents, and school governing board members – for helping the students reach these heights.

And let’s hear it for Nthabiseng Lefophana, the star student of Limpopo this year! She studied like crazy at Bokamoso Secondary School in Seshego and it all paid off. She was named the top student when the big results were announced. Way to go!
