BAKKIE COLLIDES WITH COW ON R510 NEAR THABAZIMBI

Thabazimbi – An unusual road incident occurred on Sunday, 28 January 2024, around 11:40 on the R510 between Amandelbult and Thabazimbi. A bakkie collided with a cow that unexpectedly entered the road, leading to an abrupt and unfortunate confrontation. As reported, the cattle suddenly appeared in the path of the oncoming vehicle. The driver, caught off-guard, was unable to avoid the collision. The impact resulted in the instant loss of the cow. Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene to assess the situation. The two occupants of the bakkie were examined and, fortunately, were found to have sustained no serious injuries from the accident.
