Young child fatally injured in traffic accident

Thabazimbi – In a heartbreaking incident on Thursday 1 February 2024, a young child, aged between 3 and 4 years, was struck by a car in Frikkie Meyer Street. The incident occurred at approximately 11:50. 

According to eyewitness reports, the child unexpectedly ran in front of the moving vehicle, leading to the tragic accident. Despite immediate efforts to provide medical assistance, the child succumbed to injuries sustained on Wednesday 7 February.
