Have your say / Sê jou sê Would you rather raise your child as a bully?

To navigating the challenges of parenting… Some parents face a difficult dilemma when it comes to raising their children in a world where bullying is a reality. There’s a common concern that children must either adopt aggressive behaviour to avoid being bullied or risk becoming victims themselves. However, this perspective may overlook the vast spectrum of strategies that can foster resilience, empathy, and assertiveness in children without resorting to bullying behaviour. 

We’re interested in your opinion. Do you believe that parents are faced with a choice between raising their child to be a bully or leaving them vulnerable to being bullied? What are your thoughts on finding a balance? 

My answer is definitely no! If you were to answer yes, then you agree to expose your child in his first phase of being a criminal. His moral compass will never be able to distinguish between right and wrong. He will always deviate from the narrow, right path.

No! If you teach your children to be bullies, one day they might end up in jail, or worse! You can’t teach your children to inflict pain on others.
