HAVE YOUR SAY: Have you helped someone on the side of the road in the past year?  

From flat tyres to jump-starts, roadside kindness can be lifesaving. In a country where crime is a real concern, yet the spirit of ubuntu runs deep, stopping to help a stranger isn’t always an easy choice. 
Did you take that chance this past year? 

I helped an elderly lady fix her wiper in the rain near Brits, and later helped a tourist family from Australia with a flat tyre on their way to Pilanesberg. As a Voortrekker, I believe in helping those in need.
