Public trust in government is crucial. Some believe one fraud conviction should end a political career permanently, while others feel people deserve second chances. What’s your take?

Yes. Once someone has been found guilty of fraud, there’s a high chance they could do it again. Unless they’re placed under strict supervision — which no professional wants — they pose a risk. In government, trust is everything, and we can’t afford repeat offenders.

Yes. Some people abuse the power they’re given, and second chances can open the door to more corruption. If someone chooses to commit fraud, they must face the consequences. As the saying goes — if you make your bed, you must lie in it.
