Rhinos stampede through Limpopo league with crushing victories! 

Setaria – The Northam Platinum Rhinos Rugby Club roared to dominance on Saturday, 17 May 2025, with all three of their teams delivering powerful performances in the Limpopo North League. 

The third team set the tone with a solid 27–13 victory over the University of Limpopo, while the second team demolished Mesina Rugby Club with an overwhelming 86–0 win. 

The highlight of the day came from the Rhinos’ first team, who crushed Mesina Rugby Club 92–0 — all within the first half of the game. Assistant coach Flip de Kock said, “Our first team scored the 92 points in the first half. The match was stopped before the second half even began. Our teams performed brilliantly.” 

The Rhinos are back in action this Saturday, 24 May 2025, at Bushveld Park in Setaria. The first team takes on Lethaba Rugby Club, the second team faces Nkowankowa Rugby Club, and the third team battles Blouberg Rugby Club. Kick-off starts at 18:00.
