Rhinos dominate in Limpopo showdown!

Setaria – The Northam Platinum Rhinos Rugby Club charged through their opponents this past Saturday, 24 May 2025, at Bushveld Park in Setaria during the Limpopo North League. 

Although their clash with Letaba Rugby Club was cancelled, the Rhinos made up for it with explosive performances on the field. The second team obliterated Nkowankowa Rugby Club with a jaw-dropping 131–5 victory, while the third team stampeded over Blouberg Rugby Club 92–7. 

Elsewhere, in the Waterberg leagues, the fourth team fought hard but lost 48–31 to Loskop Rugby Club, while the fifth team roared to a 36–16 win against the same club in Groblersdal. 

With momentum on their side, the Rhinos now gear up to face Potgietersrus Rugby Club this Saturday, 31 May 2025. “Good luck to the teams playing this weekend. I am sure we will win this one too,” said assistant coach Flip de Kock. For more info, contact Flip on 076 791 4659.
