Northam Rhinos charge ahead 

Setaria – The Northam Platinum Rhinos Rugby Club is back in action with a thrilling line-up of fixtures for their Waterberg and North Region League teams this weekend.

This coming Friday, 11 July 2025, the Rhinos’ Waterberg League 1st and 2nd teams will face off against Siyanda Wildebeeste Rugby Club from Swartklip. The games will kick off at 19:00 and 20:10 respectively, on Siyanda Wildebeeste’s home ground.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, 12 July, Rhinos teams will be splitting their forces:

The 2nd team will travel to Louis Trichardt to play against Louis Trichardt’s 1st team.

The 3rd team will battle Louis Trichardt’s 2nd team in a North Region League fixture.

And in an exciting highlight, the Rhinos’ 1st team will head to Secunda to take on the formidable Pumas Currie Cup squad in a friendly match — a rare opportunity and test of mettle.

Assistant coach Flip de Kock shared the team’s excitement: “It’s a big weekend for the boys – we’re playing with heart and purpose, and these matches are key to our growth and visibility.”
