BACK TO BASICS

Thabazimbi – Since March, the Thabazimbi Local Municipality’s (TLM’s) traffic department has been upgrading the road markings of the roads in and around Thabazimbi, to help control the flow of traffic and make the roads safer. 

Benefits of visible road markings include: providing clear instructions, better flow of traffic, separate traffic, improved safety for pedestrians and it helps motorists to monitor their speed.

Road markings aren’t only useful for motorists, but for pedestrians also, especially children. 

Thanks to TLM’s traffic and road markings division, this project will continue until all roads in Thabazimbi is done.
