NOTICE FOR PROSPECTING RIGHT AND ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORISATION APPLICATION BY ELWOOD PM INVESTMENTS (PTY) LTD. DMPR REF: LP30/5/1/1/2 /16732PR
Notice is hereby given in terms of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations of 2014 as amended, published in terms of the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA) No. 107 of 1998, notifying and inviting the public to register and participate in the EIA process for Environmental Authorisation (EA) application for Prospecting Rights lodged in terms of the MPRDA (Act No. 28 of 2002).
Nature of Activity: Elwood PM Investments (Pty) Ltd has applied for a Prospecting Right for Manganese Ore (Mn), Iron Ore (Fe), Gold Ore (Au), Vanadium Ore (V), Limestone (Ls), Lead (Pb), Andalusite (An), Chrome Ore (Cr), Copper Ore (Cu), Lithium Ore (Li), Platinum Group Metals (PGM), Nickel Ore (Ni), and Magnesite (Mg) on a Portion of the Remaining Extent of the Farm Bokplaats 200 KP, a Portion of the Remaining Extent of the Farm Stellenbosch 222 KP, a Portion of Portion 3 of the Farm Welgevonden 223 KP, and a Portion of the Remaining Extent of the Farm Uitsig 230 KP, in the Magisterial District of Thabazimbi, Limpopo Province.
Basic Assessment Process will be undertaken for the above properties. The Environmental Reports will be available for public review from 25 September 2026 ending on 24 October 2026. The reports will be circulated to all registered Interested and Affected Parties (I&APs).
