Love is meant to be shared

Thabazimbi – Valentine’s day, on 14 February is dedicated to celebrating love. This love should also be shared with our furry-four-legged friends.

Thabazimbi Animal Rescue (TAR) in collaboration with Spar Thabazimbi showed how much they care by collecting food donations for the dogs looked after by TAR. They urge the community to give a little love by donating bags of dog food at the ‘giant bin of love’ located at Spar Thabazimbi.

Bokkie Groenewald and his wife Ananda Groenewald share this love for animals. They shared their recipe for a prosperous and loving marriage. 

Ananda playfully told Platinum Bushvelder that Bokkie's ‘looks’ makes her knees weak. On a more serious note, she said that he is a wonderful father and husband but most of all she loves his kind heart. 

Bokkie said that even after fourteen years of married life, his wife's food is still the best. “That is the way to a man’s heart,” he jokingly added.
