Missing girl’s DISMEMBERED body discovered in dam 

Northam – The dismembered body of an 11-year old girl was found dumped in Klein Letaba Dam near Giyani on Tuesday 17 March. 

Police are considering the possibility that Tiyiselani Nokuthula Rokhotso, who had been reported missing a day before her body was discovered, could have been murdered for ritual purposes. 
“The motive for this murder is unknown at this stage but ritual murder cannot be ruled out,” police spokesperson brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said. 

The discovery was made by community members who alerted police to the scene. While retrieving the body, police noticed that some of the body parts were missing. 

Limpopo provincial police commissioner lieutenant general Nneke Ledwaba strongly condemned the brutal killing of this innocent child while giving a directive for her suspected murderers to be tracked down and arrested.
