United against farm murders

Thabazimbi – The Thabazimbi community took a stand against farm murders when the man suspected of killing Christine Robinson appeared before the Thabazimbi Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 13 August. The matter was postponed until to 29 October.

Christine was a British national living on a farm near Thabazimbi when she was attacked and murdered on 31 July 2014. She was stabbed several times before the murderer cut her throat.

The 30-year old employee who is suspected of the murder was finally arrested on 31 July 2020 on the sixth anniversary of the brutal murder.

During the court appearance, the community drove around the courthouse displaying signs and honking their hooters.

Enough is enough and they refuse to stay silent on the matter while farmers, farmworkers and landowners fall victim to these senseless, and violent attacks.
