Body of 16-year-old found in ditch

Thabazimbi – The body of a 16-year-old girl was found in a ditch at a construction site in Thabazimbi on Saturday 3 October - where workers are busy laying a pipeline.

According to police spokesperson constable Titus Khumalo, the girl told her mother that she was going for a walk but never returned home. A murder case is being investigated by Thabazimbi police and no arrests have been made yet.

Detective sergeant Monako Dikobe condemned the murder and requested anyone with information to contact the station on 014 777 3506 or phone 086 001 0111.
