Be smart – don’t start

Thabazimbi – The Drugs End All Dreams (D.E.A.D) drug awareness campaign kicked off at Thabazimbi SPAR on Saturday 5 December. Participants spread the word about the dangers of drugs by marching through town with signs displaying a clear message – DRUGS RUIN LIVES!

Stalls, motivational speakers, and interesting shows were also on the agenda for the day to entertain the community members that joined the initiative. Peet van Breda entertained attendees with a display of discipline when he used a sword to cut a banana on a volunteer’s stomach with immense speed.

The day ended off with an inspiring praise and worship session to thank God for blessing the day. Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and volunteered to make the day a success.
