ALLEGED CHILD MOLESTER CASE POSTPONED, AGAIN

Thabazimbi – The case against a man who stands accused of two separate charges of sexual assault was once again postponed by the Thabazimbi Magistrates’ Court on Monday 6 March 2023.

The accused was initially arrested with two other suspects on 26 January 2023 after it came to light that a child was sexually assaulted and that two children were brutally assaulted with a cricket bat. 

The man was granted bail of R2,000 on 8 February 2023 on the first charge, but was kept in custody when an additional charge of sexual assault was filed against him. 

He will remain in custody until his next court appearance on 13 March 2023.
