Important warning to firefighters 

Thabazimbi – Thabazimbi Fire and Rescue (TFR) director Pierre Loots has issued a warning to those who fight fires.  
This comes after an incident was recently recorded near Lichtenburg where a man responded to a fire outbreak. Fire starters have the new modus operandi to place bottles containing petrol in the areas where they start fires. The victim was fighting a veld fire when nearby 250 ml bottle containing petrol exploded. “When responding to a fire, please be vigilant and extra cautious of such a possibility,” says Loots.
