Damasa dancers shine and soar at Dance Fusion
Thabazimbi/Gauteng - The halls of Midstream Ridge Primary School pulsated with the energy of gifted dancers over the weekend, becoming the stage for the exhilarating Dance Fusion competition held from Saturday 7 October to Sunday 8 October 2023. A mixture of anticipation and excitement filled the air for two thrilling days as performers, radiating determination and elegance, captivated the audience with their remarkable talents.
This year, the competition raised the bar, featuring performances that can only be described as of the highest standard. Among the entrants was Damasa Dance School’s dancers, marking their debut in the competitive sections with the spirit of “go big or go home,” and indeed, they made a significant imprint.
Every performance told a story of intense preparation, with dancers delivering their utmost best amidst extremely tough competition. Each movement, each step, was a testament to the hours of dedication poured into perfecting their craft, turning the event into a spectacular display of artistry in motion.
Adding a golden touch to the event, dancers who received gold and up didn’t just walk away with accolades but also secured golden tickets to represent the South African in Thailand!
The competition will not only be remembered for the dazzling displays of dance but as a platform where dreams leapt into the realm of possibility, where talent met opportunity, and where stars, destined for the international stage, were unveiled.
